FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER OPENS! With grants from the Butler County Empowerment Fund, Butler County Community Foundation, CUNA Mutual Dollars for Doers Program - Shelly Dix and Darrel Steege, volunteers - and Jack Christiansen, we have created a new Family Resource Center in the alcove overlooking the river. Resources pertaining to every aspect of parenting have been purchased, along with two glider rockers, a table and chairs, and puzzles and games. It is our hope that parents will use the books and videos to help in parenting, and that families will use the area to interact in a relaxed atmosphere. Please stop in and take a look and use the Family Resource Center often! ______________________________ Summer Reading Story Hour Summer Reading for pre-school children will begin on July 8 at 9:30 a.m. The format will be much the same as the school year Story Hour, and we will use the same theme "Be Creative @ Your Library".
